Émilie Landry is a bilingual singer-songwriter from Campbellton in northern New Brunswick. She is a country-folk artist who is inspired by American female country artists such as Dolly Parton, The Chicks, Taylor Swift and Kacey Musgraves, who for her are symbols of integrity, success and strength of character. In her lyrics, Émilie expresses herself with sincerity and lightness about the small pleasures and big upheavals of life. With the great mastery of her voice, this artist knows how to transmit emotions with accuracy and finesse.
In addition to having proven herself in competitions such as the Gala de la chanson de Caraquet, the Festival international de la chanson de Granby, Ma première place des arts, and Destination Chanson fleuve, she obtained her diploma of professional technique of music and song in pop and jazz singing in Quebec. In 2017, she entered the music industry professionally when she signed with her label and booking agency le Grenier Musique. That same year, French artist Daran produced her first solo EP entitled "Être social" released on October 20, 2017. The songs "Tomber dedans" (Émilie and Les City Folks) and "Embrasse un miroir" (Être social) ranked 5th and 6th in the Acadian top 40 most played songs on Atlantic radio in 2017 (ARCANB).

Émilie has developed her creativity by participating in creative residencies in Gaspésie with Les Chants du Voyages and in France. She then embarked on an intensive period of creation supported by her mentor Éric Dion who produced her album "Arroser les fleurs". This first solo album was released via a virtual release on May 8, 2020 and her music video "Bouillir d'la misère" was voted best lockdown video at the Canadian Independent Music Video Awards.

Her latest album "Enfiler mes bottes" (2022), produced by Éric Dion, reveals a maturity that can only be earned by the road travelled. This can be heard in the lyrics and the refined, down-to-earth sound that leaves room for truth and authenticity. Her journey has taken her to over 150 venues in the Maritimes, Quebec, Europe and Louisiana! With her previous albums "Être social" (2017) and "Arroser les fleurs" (2020), she is regularly in the radio charts and reaches a larger and larger audience that she develops with great attention. Winner of the International Songwriters Day Song Contest with an unreleased song in English, as well as showcased at the Canadian Folk Music Awards, the East Coast Music Awards and the Folk Alliance International, Émilie Landry is more than ever the rising Acadian star to follow
